Job summary

Advanced Endoscopy Technician II at Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute in Downtown Orlando provides support to attending physicians during complex endoscopic procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EMR and ESD. The role requires endoscopy experience and the ability to support emergencies in the operating room, ICU and ER.

You'll set up cautery settings, mix agents for procedures, and prepare procedural suites.

Qualifications

• 3 Years of clinical experience required.
• Solid experience with scope reprocessing required.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists endoscopist during ERCP, EUS, EMR, ESD, RFA and other advanced GI procedures.
• Sets up cautery settings for interventional endoscopic procedures.
• Transports and delivers items, equipment and medications throughout the facility.
• Prepares procedural suites for advanced GI and interventional procedures.
• Communicates patient status and equipment needs to the GI Unit team.
• Maintains endoscopic equipment and supplies per policy.
