Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Red Wing, MN. The role supports individuals with higher health and assistance needs, following person-centered care and community engagement principles.
You’ll document activities, participate in trainings, and advocate for residents in daily life and skills development. The position offers a $2000 hiring bonus and structured shifts, with opportunities for wage increases after six months.
These homes support individuals who have higher health and support needs. Team members are trained to utilize medical equipment such as a nebulizers. oxygen, hoyer lift/track system and sit to stand as well as seizure disorders and protocols to follow. The individuals need full support in activities of daily living.
