Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a Diesel Technician B (Advanced Technician) to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, refuse vehicles, trailers, and equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance and collaborate with Master Technicians to ensure high equipment uptime.

We value hands-on learning and provide growth toward a Master Technician role. A valid CDL and safety mindset are required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining or repairing diesel trucks or heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, suspension.
• Willingness to obtain ASE/driver certifications and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Repair refuse trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment as needed.
• Use diagnostic software and testing equipment to identify failures.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and parts records.
