Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a Diesel Technician B (Advanced Technician) to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, refuse vehicles, trailers, and equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, work with senior techs, and help maximize uptime while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience maintaining or repairing diesel trucks or heavy equipment.
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, suspension.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; basic tool set.
• ASE/Brake/Class A CDL certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and uptime.
• Work with Master Technicians and use diagnostic software to identify failures.
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Respond to emergency repairs and maintain a safe work environment.
