Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc in Texas is seeking an entry to mid-level Fleet Technician to learn preventive maintenance and repairs that keep vehicles on the road and reliable. You will assist technicians II and III and gain hands-on experience in inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.

The role supports standard fleet operations with on-site duties, shift flexibility, and a pathway to more advanced technician roles within a stable, growing company.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience required.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Learn to perform annual inspections on tractors, trailers, and company equipment.
• Perform quality maintenance and repairs under guidance to maximize safety and reliability.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Document all work performed on work orders with proper format.
• Develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs with supervision.
