Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program; or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental and surgical assisting in Periodontology clinic.
• Prepare clinic and trays using sterile techniques.
• Assist with restorative and surgical procedures as needed.
• Obtain informed consent and postoperative instructions.
• Maintain asepsis and sterilization of instruments.
• Assist faculty and students in clinical practice.
