Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• Six months on-the-job experience with supporting documentation.
• Dental Assistant certification.
• X-Ray certification.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and infection control trainings as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories for patients and run sterilization.
• Assist the provider during treatment and support patient education.
• Maintain thorough patient records and keep up with daily equipment and supplies.
