Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• Six months on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation).
• Dental Assistant certification and X-Ray certification required; Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories for patients and assist the provider during treatment.
• Assist with sterilization and infection control, maintain equipment and supplies.
• Educate patients on oral healthcare goals and document treatment and progress in patient records.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
