Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS from American Heart Association required.
• ARRT registration in radiography (R) and/or NMTCB certification required or in process.
• Current unrestricted license to practice in state of MS or where employed.
• Advanced CT certification preferred or required within two years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and procedures for accuracy.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Operate CT equipment and perform imaging per protocol.
• Review images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Assist in departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance).
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to compliance and safety standards.
