Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university (required).
• Active, unencumbered Michigan nursing license (required).
• Two+ years of professional nursing instruction/teaching experience in the last five years (preferred).
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required for some sites.
• Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic and clinical instruction aligned with course objectives.
• Plan clinical experiences and supervise nursing students delivering care.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback.
• Maintain knowledge of agency/clinical policies and expectations.
• Communicate issues to course coordinator and dean as needed.
