Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• An unencumbered professional nursing license in MI.
• Two years of professional instructional experience as a registered nurse in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system and profession.
• Plans clinical experiences and provides direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students.
• Provides remediation of students as required and maintains knowledge of agency/clinical policies.
• Develops and posts written clinical assignments aligned with students' knowledge and needs.
• Governs and evaluates student performance and provides documented feedback.
• May teach didactic content under supervision and fosters student satisfaction and success.
• Oversees clinical training at sites in Troy, Ann Arbor, and Monroe.
