Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• 0–3 years’ experience in design, prototyping, and/or test fixture development
• 3D CAD experience
• Hands-on fabrication: 3D printing, woodworking, metal working
• Experience with electronics (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) a plus
• Knowledge of power, speed, torque metrics
• Experience with vibration and sound measurement a plus
• Eye for aesthetically pleasing designs a plus

Responsibilities

• Ideate and create prototypes that demonstrate future solutions for product needs
• Ideate and create demos showcasing performance and features
• Collaborate with Industrial Designers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
• Manage budget, schedule, and quality to meet milestones
• Communicate technical details to technical and non-technical team members
