Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineering Technician in Santa Fe Springs, CA to support the fabrication, assembly, and process optimization of advanced composite structures alongside manufacturing engineers and shop-floor technicians.

This role translates engineering designs and materials specs into repeatable, high-quality composite manufacturing processes, and involves dimensional inspections and NDT support using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in composites in aerospace/industrial settings.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specs.
• Exposure to NDT methods and coupon testing.
• Knowledge of Lean concepts and process improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• You will perform dimensional inspections with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and templates.
• Support NDT operations (ultrasonic inspection, tap testing) and coupon testing.
• Participate in root cause analysis for non-conforming hardware or processes.
