Job summary

Twin City Fan Companies, Ltd. is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer in Mitchell, SD. You will program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills, plus conventional machines, to produce precision parts.

The role requires developing CNC programs from scratch, interpreting drawings, and optimizing toolpaths for quality and efficiency. You will collaborate with Engineering to resolve dimensional issues and train setup operators, ensuring safe, reliable production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of advanced CNC machining experience with ability to develop CNC programs from scratch.
• Vocational degree in machine tool technology highly preferred.
• Strong, independent capability in conversational programming or offline CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines (Haas, Mori, Doosan, Puma) and conventional machines.
• Develop, verify, and maintain CNC programs including G-code using conversational programming/CAM software.
• Interpret drawings and GD&T to optimize toolpaths, tooling, feeds, and speeds for quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve dimensional issues; train setup operators.
