HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to lead specialty services and ensure safe, effective pharmaceutical care for patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in hospital committees to advance medication policies.

The role emphasizes mentorship of students and colleagues, close physician collaboration, and leadership in pharmaceutical care with a focus on patient safety and outcomes.

Formación

• B.S. or Pharm D. degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Graduate of an accredited PGY-1 residency is required.
• PGY-2 residency is preferred.
• 5+ years inpatient hospital experience is preferred.
• 3+ years of HCA inpatient hospital experience is preferred.
• Maintains current pharmacist licensure with the state board.
• Pharmacist Board Certification is required.
• Specialty certifications may be required by facility needs.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and dispense medications safely and accurately.
• Provide drug information to patients and families.
• Issue controlled substances and maintain required records.
• Lead committees responsible for medication policies and procedures.
• Mentor pharmacy students, residents and colleagues to ensure high standards.
• Collaborate with physicians to monitor therapy for safety and efficacy.
