HCA Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to ensure safe, effective medication use within a multidisciplinary rounding team in a Florida hospital. You will prepare, verify and monitor drug therapy, including sterile and parenteral nutrition, while ensuring compliance with USP guidelines and state licensing requirements.

The schedule includes nights with 7-10 hour shifts and rotating weekends, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over two years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• Current Pharmacy license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy required.
• Residency in accredited program preferred.
• Two years hospital pharmacist experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and dispense medication orders per physician request according to policies and procedures.
• Verify CPOE orders for accuracy and intervene when unclear or unsafe.
• Interpret medication orders and document in patient medications profile.
• Troubleshoot/clarify Centralized Order Entry orders.
• Prepare sterile, chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition preparations per USP 797 & 800 guidelines.
• Evaluate Total Parenteral Nutrition for appropriateness based on guidelines.
• Issue controlled substances and maintain records as required by law.
• Ensure safe, evidence-based and cost-effective medication therapies.
• Monitor therapy for interactions, allergies, and dosing indications.
