Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a diligent custodian for full-time cleaning projects across assigned properties in Nashville. The role involves indoor and outdoor cleaning tasks, inspecting work, reporting to supervision, and maintaining equipment and supplies with emphasis on safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning/maintenance duties such as sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting and trash disposal.
• Inform Supervisor of needed supplies and maintain chemical safety.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Inspects assigned areas daily and ensures security and safety procedures.
• Complete daily work orders and respond to emergencies promptly.
