Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Housekeeper/Janitor to perform cleaning and maintenance across assigned buildings. The role includes inspecting work, reporting to the Supervisor, and handling indoor and outdoor tasks as needed.

The position is full-time and requires attention to safety, proper use of equipment, and a professional attitude. The schedule is Sunday–Thursday, 8a–4:30p, with Fridays and Saturdays off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required or preferred.
• Previous custodial experience is preferred.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning/maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, and restroom cleaning.
• Informs Supervisor of needed supplies and reports discrepancies.
• Maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA guidelines and ensures equipment is in good condition.
• Removes trash, assists in emergency cleaning, and adheres to safety procedures.
