Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a dedicated cleaning associate to perform building cleaning and maintenance. The role involves inspecting areas, reporting findings to the Supervisor, and following safety policies while maintaining a professional workplace.

You will handle daily cleaning tasks across interiors and exteriors, ensure supplies are stocked, and support emergency cleaning as needed. This is a full-time position with standard weekday hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.
• Inform Supervisor of needed supplies.
• Maintain cleaning solutions per OSHA requirements.
• Remove trash and assist in emergency cleaning.
• Use new equipment safely and follow procedures.
• Maintain sanitary supplies for assigned areas.
• Inspect areas daily and report discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Ensure security procedures are followed.
• Furnish and burnish floors as required.
• Complete daily work orders.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Cleans restrooms and refills dispensers.
• Report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Navigate property quickly to meet duties.
