Job summary

Vail Resorts in Avon, CO is hiring for a Winter Seasonal CDL Driver to transport guests and staff safely between pickup and drop-off points. The role requires a CDL Class A or B with air brake and passenger endorsement, and 2 years of CDL driving experience.

Starting wage is $27.00–$33.93 per hour, with full-time and part-time hours available, housing options, and strong training opportunities. This position emphasizes safety, reliability, and guest service during the winter season.

Qualifications

• Valid US Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• 2 years prior experience in CDL driving position.
• Current DOT medical certificate.
• Pre-employment drug test.
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Obey all highway laws and drive defensively.
• Fill out daily reports and notify manager of bus issues.
• Check oil, water, tires and general bus condition before/after runs; maintain cleanliness.
• Assist passengers to ensure proper seating.
• Handle passenger emergencies and disruptions.
• Transport groups to/from designated locations.
• Maintain and clean buses; report maintenance problems.
• Install/remove tire chains as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

• Valid US Driver’s License and clean driving record

• Able tolift upto 50lbs

• Valid US Commercial Driver's License, Class A or B with air brake and passenger endorsement (obtained at own expense)-Required

• 2 years prior experience in CDL required driving position–Required

• Current Medical Examination Report (valid for 2 years)-Required

• High School Diploma

• Pre-employment drug test

• Current DOT medical certificate

The expected pay range is$27.00/hr - $33.93/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
