Job summary

Orlando Health's Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) seeks a Registered Nurse (Advanced Care) for the Multisystem ICU. This full-time night shift role focuses on delivering high‑acuity care to adults with complex conditions in a 32-bed unit.

The RN will monitor advanced systems, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans while ensuring patient safety and education for families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements.
• Florida RN license required; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with advanced illnesses or injuries in the Multisystem ICU.
• Utilize equipment and monitors, interpret data from intracranial pressures and vital signs.
• Respond to life‑saving situations following nursing standards and protocol.
• Develop individualized plans of care and reassess patient progress.
• Collaborate with medical staff and contribute to patient safety and education.

Education
