Job summary

The role requires knowledge of cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology, with responsibility for image acquisition, documentation, and data entry in the cardiovascular system. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified cardiovascular technology school or accredited ultrasonography program with cardiac specialty.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms including 2-D, 3-D, strain, M-Mode, color flow, and Doppler studies.
• Calibrates, cleans and maintains equipment and reports breakdowns.
• Completes EPIC workflow and billing processes as applicable.
