Job summary

Balticare Incorporated is seeking an Advanced Designer to contribute to new product development and product maintenance. You will deliver manufacturable, cost-conscious designs with high accuracy, supporting prototypes, NPI projects and ongoing improvements.

The role requires CAD proficiency, BOM expertise, and collaboration with global teams. Office-based with a mix of on-site duties and travel; BAC flex-work policy applies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CAD design experience or a Bachelor’s with 1+ year experience.
• Associates Degree or CAD certificate with at least 3 years (4000 hrs.) CAD hands-on experience preferred.
• Proficient in 3D design for complex sub-assemblies and product modules.
• Experience loading/editing data in MRP systems (SAP/Oracle) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design complex sub-assemblies and product modules per design intent and standards.
• Assess impact of designs on subsystems, parts and assemblies to ensure sound choices.
• Support prototype and pilot builds, and assist with customer orders as needed.
• Contribute to product improvements and cost-out opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, and QA to meet specs.
