Job summary

Global Finishing Solutions is seeking a Designer to translate customer concepts, sales input, and engineering specs into precise production drawings, installation prints, and bills of materials. You will help fabricate, assemble, and install our finishing systems across North America.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in mechanical design, 0–2 years of design experience, and proficiency with Inventor or AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in mechanical design or equivalent with 0-2 years design experience.
• Proficient with Inventor (preferred) and AutoCAD.
• Strong 2D and 3D design skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Turn ideas into CAD drawings — concepts, assemblies, and details that make products come alive.
• Build precise bills of materials to keep production running smoothly.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fellow designers to bring layouts and concepts to life.
• Apply industry standards and quality checks to every drawing and BOM you create.
• Develop manufacturing-ready details with exact sizes and quantities.
• Create packing lists to ensure every job ships complete and on time.
