Job summary

i3 Assembly, LLC, located in Binghamton, NY, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate Assembly 2 to perform intermediate cable assembly and related manufacturing tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will support production quality, help train entry-level workers, and contribute to production documentation and traceability.

The role requires strong attention to detail, reading and following instructions, and the ability to use standard hand tools and basic software.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one year of internal manufacturing experience or two years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
Previous cable assembly, electronics manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
Basic computer and manufacturing software skills required.
Ability to understand manufacturing instructions, drawings, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

Build cable assemblies and wire harnesses per instructions and quality standards.
Perform intermediate-level manufacturing operations using hand tools, fixtures, and machinery.
Read and interpret manufacturing instructions, drawings, diagrams, and travelers.
Identify workmanship concerns or non-conformances and communicate to leads or supervisors.
Support production schedules and department goals.
Assist with training of entry-level manufacturing associates.
