Job summary
i3 Assembly is seeking a Technician, NPI Engineering 1 in Binghamton, NY to build new Cable & Harness products under Engineering guidance. You will interpret schematics, determine dimensions, and perform manufacturing operations while learning to write the process for production setup.
The role requires following drawings, basic reading/writing, and clear communication. Manufacturing experience and IPC 610/620 familiarity are a plus, with opportunities for growth and a supportive team
Qualifications
- Experience building Cable Assemblies.
- IPC 610 / 620 certifications preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Able to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
- Familiar with basic computer software used in manufacturing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work with team members.
Responsibilities
- Build new Cable & Harness products under engineering guidance.
- Interpret schematics, determine dimensions and perform manufacturing ops.
- Learn to write a production process to establish manufacturing flow.
- Communicate clearly with team and engineering as needed.
