Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Biomedical Imaging Specialist II to provide advanced maintenance and support for biomedical imaging equipment and related systems. The role includes preventive maintenance, safety checks, repairs, and installations across multiple locations in the Philadelphia region.

The ideal candidate will have degrees in electronics or biomedical engineering or substantial field experience with imaging equipment, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with QA and

Qualifications

• Associates or higher in electronics/biomedical fields or equivalent field experience.
• Experience in direct component-level repair and maintenance on medical imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of QA procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to use service documentation and manuals to test and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance to achieve high PM compliance.
• Conducts safety checks, repairs, and installations of biomedical equipment.
• Identifies supplies to service equipment cost-effectively.
• Maintains technical literature and regulatory compliance records.
• Provides in-service training on equipment and electrical safety.
