Qualifications

• A combined minimum of 3 years’ higher education and/or work experience including a minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, customer-facing, collections, call center or sales.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software.
• Detail oriented and able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Initiate contact with consumer borrowers in delinquency to assess repayment prospects and arrange schedules or other solutions.
• Initiate contact with customers’ attorneys and Bankruptcy trustees.
• Investigate and conduct skip tracing as required.
• Submit recommendations for account placement with third party agencies and firms.
• Contact borrowers to assess repayment prospects and arrange solutions.
• Coordinate with business partners to ensure service levels are met.
• Support loss prevention strategies to protect collateral and manage costs.
• Review collateral condition, establish asset value, and negotiate sales where appropriate.
• Develop understanding of the business and its processes, staying informed on market trends.
