Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Software Engineer for the NGA Flight Displays team. You will design, develop and verify core display software for the Anthem Next Generation Avionics Platform, collaborating across disciplines to deliver high‑quality avionics solutions.

The role emphasizes embedded software with C/C++, Python, graphics exposure (OpenGL/Vulkan) and experience with RTOS and DO-178C standards. Hybrid work in the Phoenix area is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Software or Computer Science.
• Embedded software experience ~1.5–2+ years (Engr II), ~4–5 years (Engr III).
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python; familiarity with graphics dispays (OpenGL/Vulkan).
• Experience with RTOS and avionics software development standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and verify Core Displays for Anthem NGA Platform.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver robust, high‑quality display software.
• Create test cases from system requirements and use cases.
• Participate in full software lifecycle from concept to delivery.
• Ensure seamless integration with existing avionics systems.
