Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr Advanced Software Engr for the NGA group, designing and delivering state-of-the-art avionics display software. You will work on the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck, collaborating with engineers to build robust, high-performance systems that enhance pilot situational awareness.

You will contribute across the software lifecycle, with emphasis on either low-level embedded or higher-level graphics and user applications, in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 6+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Experience in low-level embedded software (C/C++) or higher-level embedded, graphics/displays areas.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, development and implementation of software for Flight Display System platforms and applications.
• Lead full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define architectures.
• Own software modules and deliver innovative features for avionics systems.
• Ensure seamless integration with existing avionics systems.
• Stay current with avionics technologies to inform design decisions.
