Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix is seeking a Software Engineer (NGA Flight Displays) to design, develop, and verify Core Displays on the Anthem Next Generation Avionics Platform. You will contribute across architecture, implementation and verification to deliver advanced cockpit displays for modern aircraft.

The role requires embedded software experience, C/C++, Python proficiency, and familiarity with RTOS and DO-178C.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Software or Computer Science.
• Embedded software development experience ~1.5-2+ years (Engr II).
• 4-5 years (Advanced/Engr III) preferred.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python; familiarity with OpenGL/Vulkan.

Responsibilities

• Design, architecture and deployment of avionics display software.
• Develop, verify and integrate core displays on Anthem NGA platform.
• Create test cases and participate in the full software lifecycle.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
