Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Advanced Technician to perform vehicle repairs and routine maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards, driving customer trust and loyalty. You’ll work closely with Service Advisors and the Parts team to schedule work, communicate progress, and deliver reliable results.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training (varies by store).
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of vehicles.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
