AutoNation, a leading automotive retailer in the United States, seeks an Advanced Technician to perform repairs and maintenance per dealer and factory standards. You will build customer loyalty by delivering trusted service and clear communication with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, conducting inspections, documenting work, and staying current with factory bulletins. Competitive pay, benefits, and OEM training support are provided across locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs).
• Attention to detail.
• Organization and follow-up skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of malfunctions and performing repair when authorized.
• Conducting multi-point inspections and making safety/reliability recommendations.
• Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintaining an inventory of tools not normally inventoried by Service.
• Keeping current with factory bulletins and training classes.
• Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
