Job summary

Grease Monkey International in Draper, UT is seeking a Technician A with strong mechanical knowledge to perform brakes, rotors, oil changes, transmissions, cooling systems, tires and related services. You will educate customers on preventive maintenance and may perform courtesy services as needed.

You will diagnose and perform repairs with guidance from supervisors, keep records, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the shop.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of related experience or training in automotive service.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and services as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Work on complex repairs including transmissions and engine-related work.
• Assist in training Technicians B and C.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles, document all work and educate customers on maintenance.
• Ensure shop safety, cleanliness, and proper tool usage.
• Support scheduling and communication with the Center Manager.
