Job summary

Grease Monkey International in South Jordan, UT is seeking an experienced Technician A. You will perform brakes, oil changes, transmission work, cooling system maintenance, tire services, and other duties as outlined by the shop. You will communicate with customers, educate on preventive maintenance, and work with the team under safety and SOP guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site role with hourly pay and a commission percentage.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance manuals.
• Ability to write routine tickets, notes and correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Works on complex repairs and diagnostics, including transmissions and engine work.
• Helps train Technicians B and C in the team.
• Documents all work performed and road tests vehicles as needed.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and complies with safety and company guidelines.
