Job summary

Tennova Healthcare LaFollette Medical Center in La Follette, TN is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Qualifications

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
1-3 years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology preferred.
Experience with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies and dysphagia management preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluates and treats speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.
Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
Performs MBS evaluations in collaboration with Radiology and communicates results.
Documents interventions, progress, and outcomes in the medical record daily.
Ensures proper coding and charge logs for billing and compliance.
Collaborates with physicians and inter-disciplinary teams to coordinate referrals.
Provides education to patients, families, and caregivers to support continuity of care.
Engages in discharge planning with follow-up recommendations.
