Responsibilities include MBS evaluations, documentation in the medical record, and coordinating referrals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies and dysphagia management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to improve outcomes.
• Collaborates with physicians, caregivers and other professionals for comprehensive care.
• Performs MBS evaluations in collaboration with Radiology and communicates results.
• Documents treatment interventions and patient progress in the medical record daily.
• Maintains proper coding and charge logs for billing and compliance.
• Educates patients, families and caregivers to support continuity of care.
• Discharges patients with follow-up recommendations and physician feedback.
