Job summary

Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized therapy plans, conduct MBS studies when indicated, document progress in the EMR, and support families with education and discharge

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• 1-3 years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology preferred.
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies and dysphagia management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develops individualized treatment plans and documents progress.
• Performs MBS evaluations in collaboration with Radiology and communicates results.
• Coordinates referrals with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provides education to patients, families, and caregivers for continuity of care.
