Job summary

Duke Health's Department of Urology is seeking an Adult Reconstructive Urologist to join its growing clinical and academic practice. The role focuses on evaluating and treating complex adult reconstructive urologic conditions, with opportunities for clinical research and education across Duke Health.

The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained in reconstructive urology with expertise in urethral reconstruction, urinary diversion, prosthetic urology, and pelvic reconstruction.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained in reconstructive urology.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology.
• Experience with complex reconstructive procedures (urethral reconstruction, urinary diversion, prosthetic urology, pelvic reconstruction).
• Commitment to academic collaboration and resident/medical student education.

Responsibilities

• Clinical care focused on adult reconstructive urology, with some general urology.
• Perform high-volume outpatient reconstructive procedures in ASC and complex open/robotic surgeries in OR.
• Coordinate perioperative care and longitudinal follow-up.
• Engage in research, quality improvement, and education at divisional/departmental levels.
• Participate in call schedule and clinical coverage at Duke-affiliated sites.
