Job summary

UNC Health in Raleigh, NC seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist with fellowship training in Genitourinary Reconstruction to join a growing urology team. The role blends general urology with a specialized reconstructive focus and may offer academic involvement with UNC School of Medicine.

The ideal candidate will handle diverse clinical cases from benign conditions to complex reconstructive surgeries and collaborate across disciplines to improve regional patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Urology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Fellowship training in Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of general urologic conditions including BPH, kidney stones, hematuria, men's health issues, and urologic cancers.
• Perform outpatient and inpatient urologic procedures and surgeries.
• Participate in a shared call coverage.
• Develop a reconstructive urology practice focused on urethral stricture disease, male urinary incontinence, prosthetics, genital and urinary tract reconstruction and more.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists and serve as a referral resource for complex reconstructive cases.
