Job summary

UNC Health in North Carolina is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist with fellowship training in Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery to join our growing urology team. This role combines broad general urology with a focus on reconstructive procedures and potential academic collaboration with UNC School of Medicine.

You will diagnose and treat common urologic conditions, participate in outpatient and inpatient care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the region.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited Urology residency program.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
  • Fellowship training in Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery required.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of general urologic conditions including BPH, kidney stones, hematuria, men’s health issues, and urologic cancers.
  • Perform outpatient and inpatient urologic procedures and surgeries.
  • Participate in shared call coverage.
  • Develop a reconstructive urology practice focused on urethral stricture disease, male urinary incontinence, prosthetics, genital and urinary tract reconstruction, and more.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists and serve as a referral resource for complex reconstructive cases from urologists throughout the region.

Education

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina
