Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist with fellowship training in Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery to join our growing urology team in Raleigh.

The role combines a broad general urology practice with a specialization in reconstructive surgery, offering opportunities for academic involvement with UNC School of Medicine.

This is a physician-led, collaborative environment with access to advanced technology and a supportive network across North Carolina.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Urology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
• Fellowship training in Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina.
• Proficient in English communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of general urologic conditions, including BPH, stones, hematuria, and cancers.
• Perform outpatient and inpatient urologic procedures and surgeries.
• Participate in shared call coverage.
• Develop reconstructive urology focusing on urethral strictures, male incontinence, prosthetics, and related reconstruction.
