Job summary

The State of Vermont is seeking two Adult Protective Services Service Navigators to work from home with regular field visits across Bennington and Wyndam counties, and across Orleans, Essex, and Caledonia counties. These positions require building relationships with community partners and engaging with families and potential perpetrators to keep vulnerable adults safe and connected to services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in social work, gerontology, disabilities, psychology, or related field.
• Progressive experience in social work or psychology touching aging/disability services.
• Experience with case management and collaboration with community partners.

Responsibilities

• Take a victim-centered approach to allegations to improve quality of life and reduce risk.
• Develop relationships with community partners across counties covered.
• Engage family members and potential perpetrators to ensure safety and resources.
