Job summary

Compass Health Center in Chicago offers a role as a group therapist focusing on evidence-based groups using CBT, DBT, and ACT to help patients overcome depression, anxiety, and other challenges. You will work in our North Center area office, facilitating dynamic group sessions and coordinating with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

Licensed psychologist or master’s level therapist
Strong CBT/DBT skills and group therapy experience
Experience in partial hospitalization, IOP, inpatient, or residential settings preferred

Responsibilities

Provide group therapy in a safe, therapeutic milieu
Develop therapeutic relationships to promote positive change
Utilize CBT, DBT, and other evidenced-based therapies
Relay clinical information to the treatment team during rounds
Develop program materials and adjust group content as needed
Engage in crisis management when necessary
Create and update individualized treatment plans
Chart in the electronic medical records system
May meet with patients individually for case management
