Job summary

Compass Health Center in Chicago is seeking a licensed clinician to lead group therapy for adults in crisis, using CBT, DBT, and ACT. You will develop therapeutic relationships and collaborate with the treatment team to promote positive change.

Qualifications

• Hold licensure in LSW, LCSW, LCPC or LPC or eligible for licensure in Illinois.
• Experience delivering group and individual therapy to adults.
• Background in trauma-focused interventions (CPT and PE) or willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Provide group therapy and lead skills groups in a safe therapeutic milieu.
• Develop effective therapeutic relationships to promote positive change.
• Utilize empirically-supported interventions for trauma-related issues (CPT, PE, ACT, CBT, DBT).
• Conduct individual meetings with patients as needed.
• Engage in safety planning with patients.
• Chart progress of patients in medical records.
• Collaborate with treatment teams and outpatient providers.
