Job summary

Quincy College seeks an ESOL Instructor funded by a federal grant. The role reports to the ABE/ESOL Program Coordinator and leads coordination, administration, and instructional leadership within the Adult Basic Education Program.

Develop and deliver rigorous ESOL lessons for adult learners, using data to guide decisions and maintaining accurate attendance and progress records. Travel between Quincy and Plymouth campuses may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and three years of postsecondary experience.
• TABE E certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Experience in ESOL programs, advising, and student services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging ESOL lessons tailored to adult learners.
• Assess language proficiency and use data to drive instruction.
• Provide feedback and support to facilitate language development.
• Use various teaching methods and technology, including LMS.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support learning.
• Attend professional development to stay current with teaching methods.
