PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Instructors design and teach approved original courses, completing all necessary forms and submitting accurate course descriptions, bios, and promote materials by catalog deadlines.
2. Work with SoWashCo staff to confirm classroom space, technology requirements, and special setup needs prior to the class start date.
3. Deliver accessible, high-engagement instruction designed for beginners while seamlessly adapting to accommodate varying skill levels and learning preferences.
4. Monitor participant engagement, maintain a safe and positive learning space, and adhere to district policies, facility rules, and emergency protocols.
5. Prepare and share all materials with participants, track and enter attendance in the Arux app, and promptly communicate any unexpected absences or rescheduling needs to staff and students.
6. Submit invoices and payroll vouchers on specified deadlines.
7. Leverage participant survey feedback to continuously refine course content and enhance the learning experience.
