Bend Parks and Recreation District is seeking Enrichment Instructors to teach adult and child-inclusive cooking and baking classes. This is a part-time role teaching up to eight single-session classes per season, Fall through Summer, with emphasis on ethnic cuisines and hands-on demonstrations.

BPRD is looking for Enrichment Instructors with experience teaching demonstration or hands‑on culinary arts classes to adults, seniors, and adults with children. This is a part‑time position teaching one to eight single‑session classes per season (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer). We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in ethnic cuisines.
Enrichment Instructors provide leadership and supervision for assigned recreation program while also serving in a front‑line lead role, providing safe and rewarding recreational opportunities for the community.
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Work schedule will be determined together with Enrichment Supervisor, based on both classroom and instructor availability for Fall and Winter Programming.
1. Some positions may require possession of or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire a valid First Aid/CPR certification.
2. Some positions may require possession of, or ability to obtain valid Oregon driver’s license within 30 days with an acceptable driving history as defined by district driving policy.
Works under the supervision of the Enrichment Supervisor.
Exercises supervision of any volunteer classroom assistants.

An offer of employment is contingent on the verification of credentials and other information required by Bend Park & Recreation District policies, including a background check and a driving history review when driving is required for position.
