Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Coordinator for the Adult Education Programs to assist the Coordinator in scheduling classes, planning offerings, and drafting descriptions.

The role involves managing registrations, coordinating with instructors, and supporting online and in-person programs. The position requires collaboration across divisions, attention to program statistics, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends during peak months.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in informal education, event/program coordination, or related field.
• Experience with working with the public and adults in an educational setting preferred.
• Experience working in a cultural institution preferred.
• Experience working with volunteers preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate scheduling of classes with contract instructors and Garden staff.
• Assist in planning course offerings on topics such as Food & Cooking, Gardening & Landscaping, Fine Arts, and more.
• Draft course descriptions for web and print catalogs and edit public program catalogs twice a year.
• Utilize Ungerboeck for room reservations and Tessitura for registrations.
• Assist instructors with classes, hosting online programs, and purchasing supplies.
• Coordinate cross-divisional communications to arrange classes.
• Manage class volunteers and maintain program statistics and surveys.
• Process instructor confirmations and payment forms for each class.
