Job summary

Grindr is seeking a Director of Ads Product to own the advertising vision and develop a roadmap spanning programmatic infrastructure, rewarded ads, high-value formats, and self-serve platforms. You will partner with engineering, data science, and GTM teams to build best-in-class ad products that enhance the Grindr experience while driving revenue growth.

The role leads a small PM team, evolves the ad tech stack, and uses data-driven insights to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in product management with ads experience.
• Ownership of consumer-facing ads and programmatic systems.
• Strong data fluency; experience with metrics and experiments.
• Experience leading and growing a product team.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align across org.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Grindr's advertising product strategy and roadmap.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and GTM teams to ship ad products.
• Scale the rewarded ads portfolio and improve experiences.
• Lead a high-caliber ads PM team and build a culture of accountability.
• Evolve Grindr's ad tech stack with build-vs-buy decisions.
• Use data and market insights to improve revenue while preserving user trust.
• Partner with Ad Sales and Finance to meet financial targets.
